Circus Skill Workshops for Special Schools

‘Special Requirements’ a speciality!

Rico has worked successfully with all types of special needs (Children + adults).

Over 20 years experience working with children and adults with physical disabilities and mental health issues. Working with the individual and encouraging  their personal abilities and adapting the use of equipment accordingly in each workshop.

Circus Workshops also cater for children excluded from mainstream education and young offenders. Circus Skill Workshops provide high quality workshops for young people of all ages and abilities. We offer a wide range of exciting activities.

Standard workshops include juggling, duo/ team juggling, diabolos, unicycle, balancing objects, ribbon twirling, poi, flower sticks, plate spinning and so on. More specialist workshops can include gigantic bubble making.

We can tailor activities to fit themes and special learning criteria such as learning about the circus, communication skills & numeracy.

We can also run INSET workshops for teachers and assistants- focussing on circus related team building/cooperation activities and basic circus skills, which can be integrated into work with young people. We also offer a wide range of performance material to amaze your students.

From Meet & Greet Stilt Walking at arrival time, Lunchtime Giant Bubble Show and Giant Bubble Making Workshops. We run workshops in all areas, mostly in London and the Home counties.

We have lots of experience of working with special needs learners and have worked successfully with children with autism, Down’s syndrome, visual impairments, blind children, groups with hearing disabilities and physical disabilities.

We have adapted many activities to make them accessible. Our main aim is for all to enjoy and we aim to make activities challenging but achievable for all. We look forward to hearing from you!!!!
